Connect to TorIX

Connecting to Canada’s largest Internet Exchange is a straightforward process. To ensure a smooth turn-up, please follow the steps below.

Before applying, please ensure your organization meets the following technical criteria:

ASN: You must have your own unique Autonomous System Number (ASN).

IP Space: You must have at least a /24 of IPv4 or a /48 of IPv6 space to advertise.

Physical Presence: You must be able to reach one of our locations (151 Front St. W, 45 Parliament St., or 250 Front St. West or 905 King St. W) either directly or via a third-party transport provider.

    Submit to: peering@torix.ca
  3. Purchase Orders and Agreements

If your company requires a Purchase Order (PO) number on invoices, please include the PO number in your email.

Please note: TorIX does not accept the terms and conditions associated with Purchase Orders. All services and connections are governed exclusively by the TorIX Master Service Agreement (MSA).
  4. Next Steps

Verification: Our team will review your technical details and billing information within 2–3 business days.
LOA Delivery: We will issue a Letter of Authorization (LOA) for your cross-connect.
Provisioning: After the physical cross-connect is completed by the facility provider, we will provide your TorIX peering IPv4/IPv6 addresses and portal login.

    Pro-Tips for New Peers

PeeringDB: Ensure your PeeringDB record is up to date, as many TorIX members use this data to automate their filter generation.
Route Servers: We strongly recommend peering with our Route Servers immediately upon connection to instantly reach ~75% of our members.
