Depending on where your equipment is located relative to the TORIX infrastructure, your connection will fall into one of two categories. Please check which scenario applies to your deployment to understand the total cost of connectivity.
1. Direct Cross Connect
Best for customers located within the same suite as the TORIX switch. In this scenario, a single fiber cable connects your equipment directly to ours.
- Fee 1 (Billed by TORIX): Port Fee.
- Fee 2 (Billed by Facility): Standard Cross-Connect Fee.
2. MMR Extended Connection
Required for customers connecting via the building’s central Meet-Me Room (MMR). Because two separate fiber segments are required to bridge the distance between your rack and the TorIX core, an additional infrastructure fee applies.
- Fee 1 (Billed by TORIX): Port Fee.
- Fee 2 (Billed by TORIX): MMR Extension Fee (Covers the fiber link from the TORIX switch to the MMR).
- Fee 3 (Billed by Facility): Standard Cross-Connect Fee (Covers the fiber link from your rack to the MMR).
